  1. yes

  2. It depends on what part of California you are asking about. Yes, in central to northern Cali, it does snow, in the south it does not.

  3. Yes, it snows in the higher elevations...usually late October through March or April.

  4. Yes, we have desert, mountains, and beaches in California so you can visit all three types of climates.

  5. oh  that reminds me to get my snow tires.  thanks

  6. Yes, it does, in every part, but not so often in the warmer parts.

  7. It snows October-March in the Sierra Nevadas, down to about 3000 feet in the foothills. Sometimes (once every 5 years or so) it will snow in Sacramento and the valley areas, or even Los Angeles, but it only lasts a few minutes and kids run outside of classrooms just to see it.

We get hail in the valley quite often in the colder months, as California's winter months are very rainy.

  8. California is a very big state with multiple climates.  So yes, it does snow here.

  9. Yes, but don't expect to get it in L.A., S.D. and S.F..

  10. It snow up at Big Bear (that's SoCal), and it has been known to snow in the San Fernado Valley just over the hill from LA, so the answer to your question is Yes!

  11. Yes, much of Northern and Central California get a decent amount of snow. Some areas of Southern California get some snow as well, Big Bear and Wrightwood to name a few. But areas like Los Angeles and San Diego don't have to worry about snow, since it probably happens once a century if that.
