  1. Yes, it can snow pretty much at any time of the year on the highest peaks in Colorado.

    I was driving up to Gunnison one year and we were in a jeep going thru a pass at about 12,000 ft.  This thunderstorm develops on the side of the mountain and moves over us and it starts snowing and pelting us with ice.  We drive back into the valley and it was 75 degrees again! Mind you, this was in July!


  2. I really doubt that the snowin Colorado does not melt in summer;- perhaps the only place in the US that still might have permafrost or unmelting glaciers might be Alaska...

  3. nope there is none there but in new mexico there is for a few months

  4. It will most likely snow in the mountains because it is colder by the mountains top
