Does it snow in hertfordshire

i am coming to uni of hertfordshire i wanted to know if it rains alot and if the is alot of snow in winter.

Yes we have snow and rain like most other places in the upper reaches of the Northern Hemisphere!

Yes, it rains regularly.  There is very little snow in winter.  The temperature is rarely below freezing during the daytime.  We might have 1 or 2 days of snow each winter, with less than 2 inches of snow!....and the uni will be closed those days.  England is useless at dealing with snow - we don't invest in the proper equipment 'cos it would not get much use.

Some years you can get quite a bit of snow.  I used to live in Herts and remember one Christmas when it was thick snow for about a week but other years when there was none.  

It rains a lot though.
