Does it snow in north carolina?

if so how often does it snow, where in north carolina does it snow, and how much does it snow?

Yeah it snows a bunch in the mountains of North Carolina, but not as much of course in the lower elevations, but it does snow there sometimes also.

It snows in NC if you are up in the High Country (meaning the mountains).

As far as the foothills and further inland, it snows maybe once every 3-10 years that that's no joke.  Growing up in NC, I think I saw a snow shower 2 times in my life.  Once when I wasw about 3 and then again when I was about 11.

We have wicked ice storms more than anything else.

It does in the mountains and in upper north carolina. but not very much. Frost is more common.
