  1. no, just a very very big breath !  lol x

  2. A great deal of courage .

  3. Sure it does, No one wants be known as a "RAT" .

  4. Yes it does.

  5. It depends if you're scared of whistles.

  6. of course i e mailed the whistleblowers website about a nursing home i once worked at

2 years later nothing has been done and its still happening.whistleblowing does not always mean a result

  7. No, it's pure yellowbelly cowardice.  It makes me sick:(

  8. Yes it does, but remember, if you don't whistleblow, you could be guilty of colluding - which is not good. Whistleblowing policies are in place to safeguard employees, clients, the public and YOU

  9. Yep. You could lose a lot.

Your job, your pension, your security.

You could be ostracized, threatened, and abused.

It takes a lot of guts to go out of the norm and stand above the others. A lot of courage.

Mind you though. Non of the above could happen to you at all, you just don't know until you blow the whistle how the reaction is going to be.

  10. Of course, but if you believe you really ought to do it

Then you really ought  to do it

  11. Absolutely. Along w/courage you need people (family, friends) you can trust to the very end w/out the slightest reservations. Three people maximum. They will be your backup in case (God forbid) anything should happen to you. You also need some street smarts or for one of your people to have this. Look inside yourself and decide if this is important enough to you to take the risks you might encounter if you go through with it. I highly respect and admire people who do the right thing instead of turning a blind eye about something they know is wrong.
