Does it take long to receive a paycheck in the mail?

Pay period for my dad was last Friday (the 8th). The university had to mail him the check since it was the last one for the semester. Today is Wednesday and it still isn't here!

they probably wont mail it until then. after that its up to the post office.

It can take anywhere from one to five days for an envelope to arrive from the day it's mailed.

It's possible that, even though payday was Friday, they might not have actually mailed the check until Monday. Sorry. Your dad is just going to have to be a little more patient.
