Does it take many years to master tap?

I've tried doing tap. I just feel like i'll never get the hang of it.

it takes a few years. ive been taking tap for 3 years now and finally starting to get it. dont give up!

Tapping is one of those things where either you are really good from the start.

or it might just take a little longer.

It also helpes if you have bigger feet to help the sounds.

Or the type of shoe. The double sole is a good shoe.

i like the "clickety clack" sound og tap dancing, but i've never really tried it.

Think of it like ballet, just a little bit easier. Yes, it takes many many many years.

I tap my finger nails on the table often and it's not that difficult. Position your hand directly above a table and then begin tapping each finger in sequence beginning with your index finger and progessively moving to your pinky. For added entertainment add a metal thimble to each of your finger tips.
