  1. Of course. I don't think it necessarily takes years to get really good cause basketball is one of those things where if you're naturally talented and gifted, you can get real good real fast. However, a lot of practice doesn't hurt. It's very possible to improve your game in a month. Only things that are impossible are the things you don't do.

  2. Everyone is good at something in basketball( whether it be defense, layups, etc) All you have to do is practice on improving your weaknesses

  3. Basketball is probably 50% skill/technique and 50% mental.

    Atleast in my experiences..

If you train hard and believe in yourself when you out to shoot in a real game and have cofidence you tend to play better. When you miss just keep playing when you get upset with you're shot you won't make many more shots that game because all you are thinking about is missing.

One of our best 3-point shooters was cold one game and his ego is normally I'm the best shooter in the world but when he missed his first 5 shots he missed the rest and all he did was complain

as for years to get good duh all sports take time to adapt to but it's not going to take you years to be good/ make a highschool team or w/e team you want it just takes hard work and years for the next level like college and pro

If you can play defense any coach will want you ;p

  4. my shot used to suck. I shot 500 shots a day in my school after school for a year and I'm the starting SG of my high school team

  5. it takes about 10 years. all the nba players had to practice when they were like 6

  6. yes, it does take a while to develope that chemistry with eachother.  Just look at the Spurs and the Pistons.  They have had the same core of players for a few years and they have been the most consistant teams in the last 5 or 6 years.  Not every team can be like Boston and have 3 hall of famers and great role players and win a championship.  It takes years to develope chemistry and also you can't go hiring a new coach every 2 or 3 years either, that also makes it tough.

  7. hey

well it takes more than a month to improve anything in any sport

but like i think you mean that you see improvement

just keep working hard and remember when everyone else is sleeping you go harder

    good luck

  8. well it takes years if you practise like once a week

but you can improve a h**l of a lot in a month if you keep going at it

  9. Practice makes better. The more you do it the better you get.

  10. it dosent take years its just takes determination and practice alot of NBA stars couldnt make the team as a freshman just practice hard and work at it you'll get better. And remeber what you put in is what you get out

  11. Yes, you will see improvement in a month if you practice hard. Keep practicing!
