We are travelling from Australia and would love to have a "white christmas". How likely is it that we'll get one in Stockholm ?

Thanks :-)

  1. Stockholm is on the coast, which means fastly changeable weather,  so I agree with Raoul - it can happen, but it's not reliable. (In later years, there's been less snow than there used to be, overall, too).

You don't need more than abt two hours travelling from there to get to places where there always should be snow, though...

  2. I'd say pretty likely. It would frost tons when I lived in southern Germany, so you can expect a much colder and snowier climate in Sweden.

  3. They occasionally get one, but not usually, i'm afraid to say. There's always snow in december but usually at the start. I'd say you've got about a one in five chance. You might get lucky! X
