Question:

Does it worry Democrats that Rasmussen says Obama's post-convention bounce has already disappeared?

Here's what they've just posted today: "The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday—the day before the Republican National Convention is scheduled to begin—shows Barack Obama ahead of John McCain by three percentage points both with and without leaners. That’s exactly the same edge Obama enjoyed a week ago on the eve of the Democratic National Convention."

The past few days, the Dems were crowing over the bounce. Today, will they be back to saying "polls don't matter"?

  1. McCain and Obama have been in a statistical tie since about a week after Clinton dropped out. Bo didn't get a poll bump after his European publicity tour. He failed to get a poll bump when he announced his VP.  Now the DNC convention has not delivered a poll bump. On the other hand, the obamabots have been terrified and scurrying ever since the Palin announcement. It's the begining of the end for Obama.

  2. yep.isn't it great.they all said palin was a bad choice.time for them to eat crow!

  3. No they're pretty confident in their

"bash the mama for having a career" strategy

  4. Heh.......You mean the Clinton bounce? YEah....he spent that...its gone now.

  5. Given that if either Obama or McCain get "elected"

    AMERICA is so DOOMED!

What we NEED here is real change and we will NOT get it

by electing either the Donkey or the Elephant!

This Nov. abandon the Donkey and the Elephant

VOTE for NONE OF THE ABOVE

    Can

    U

    dig

    it?

    .

  6. No, because the Obama campaign has new voters which are not covered by the Rasmussen Report

  7. I predict Obama's bounce will become and impact crater.

  8. It amazes me that you and the rest of the people who keeps quoting this polls keep forgetting to mention that this poll was taken among REPUBLICANS.

McCain has reached more of his conservative base.

  9. McCain has never been ahead of Obama. For many, the election as all but over.

Sarah Palin is creating a bounce up and down.  Sarah Palin says something incredible on CNBC at the 3 minute mark.  Judge the video of her in her own words.

  11. I'm not worried because I don't trust in polls so much. Not that long ago, we thought the candidates would be Rudy and Hillary. Boy, we were wrong on that one.

  12. If the election were to be held today, Obama wins with electoral votes.

I did not expect a big bounce, but he is still leading in all polls but one.

  13. I guess having someone that can back up on were they stand on issues and show what they have down, still has meaning.

  14. Not really, he's already won.

  15. And according to Gallup, it's 6.  What's your point?  He's still going to win in November, which is what really matters.

  16. They are very worried. Even Dukakis had a bigger lead after his convention and we know how that ended.

It will get worse for the Dems after Obama gets taken apart in the debates. The Dems will be resorting to some real underhanded tactic pretty soon.
