Question:

Does jelly have gelatin in it?

I'm not referring to jelly in jell-o, but jelly as in 'peanut butter and jelly'. I've heard different things and would love to clarify this answer!

  2. it depends normally i think of anything gummy or wiggly as gelatin, i always read labels and make sure i am nt eating gelatin

    some items with gelatin include:

    marshmallows, jell-o, some pudding, gummy bears/ worms, and some ice creams, but i dont believe that

  4. The primary thickener in jelly is usually pectin, a complex carbohydrate molecule of plant origin.  (Gelatin is a protein.)

    It's not inconceivable that someone might have made jelly with gelatin, but it would be decidedly unusual.
