Does jump roping help you get faster?

i read somewhere that jump roping makes you faster. Is it true?

  1. yes, jumping rope strengthens ur legs so u will b able to run faster, and helps with  long jump and high jump,also, helps build stamina,


  2. Jump rope can help but not as much as simply running more.  I only jump rope to get myself warmed up before I go on a run.  But, I would never say I am a faster or better runner because of jump roping.

  3. Jump ropink makes your legs strongr if you jump rope a lot because your jumping up and down super fast, but it will only make your legs stronger if you do it really fast, but strong egs make u run a lot faster, so if yor legs get strong from that, then yes!

  4. yes, it actually can. because you're jumping up and down quickly multiple times, it triggers and strengthens your fast twitch muscles. which basically means jump roping helps you get faster (and stronger!)
