  1. yes i think they did

  2. no i think it just helps teen deal with the surprises life hacks out

  3. no, they're not saying oh its great, go out and get pregnant. if anything they are discouraging teen pregnacy because they make people more aware of it and show the hardships of dealing with it

  4. No. Definitely not. Women are supposed to have children between the ages of 18-25. Maybe 16 is a little young, but women who are poppin' them out after 35 are putting that child at a greater risk than the 16 year old is.

  5. No. Not at all. If anything they give a reasonable representation of the physical, financial, and emotional burden of being pregnant as a teen. Shows like One Tree Hill and Degrassi may have glorified teen pregnancy but Juno and The Secret Life of an American Teenager not only don't promote teenage pregnancy but they explain the reality of how awkward and unenjoyable teenage s*x can be unlike most other movies and shows on tv. In The Secret Life if an American Teen the girl even says "it was nothing like you see in the movies." Really kids are exposed to more real life teen pregnancies than they see in shows like this. There were almost a dozen girls pregnant in my senior class. Out of about 250. Its something we see everyday.

  6. only if wizard of oz promotes witchcraft.
