  1. It didn't work for me, my eyes quickly reverted to the original prescription. Initially Ultralase said they would redo the surgery but the Surgeon refused saying he didn't want to 'over correct'. I'm not the only person who had surgery at their clinic in St. Albans who is not happy with the result but they won't 'allow' negative comments on their feedback.

  2. Sometimes

  3. yes it does .  Know three people  who have benefited.   But make sure the specialist is competent ,  Not a get rich quick cowboy

  4. For most people, yes.

Over 95% of people are happy to very happy with the result, even if it has left some degree of side or after-effect, and again, that's only a small percentage of people.

(but if it's you, the incidence is 100%: you don't get a percentage of the problem.)

The most common reasons for dissatisfaction are:

Rx afterwards not as near zero as hoped

    Flare or glare at night,

    Dry eyes, temporarily or permanently.

The more severe problems are very rare, but they do exist.

I have had people I could not correct to decent vision with glasses or contact lenses, following laser refractive surgery.

The odds are very good.  But risk-free it isn't, which is why you'll be asked to sign a consent form saying you understand that.

A sample consent form is below: just one I found on-line, I have no connection with the site or business.

See also the FDA site for more information.

  5. Yes, it does work. A relatively small percentage of treated people encounter problems after the treatment, though, like halos, double vision (ghosting), loss of contrast sensitivity (foggy vision) but the results are in general very positive.

  6. i got it done in April and its the best thing i ever done. The chances of things going wrong are very slim.

Most places gove you a free consulation you should book one and you can ask any questions you have

  7. Yes it does work.

  8. While the risk may be very small why risk your eyesight for cosmetic reasons?

  9. You dont need to worry at all. I have just did 15 days back and I feel perfectly comfortable with the treatment. I advise to go for it.

But do it in a reputed opthamoligist(specialist), since it is more concerned with the eye.

My power is -2.75 (right eye) and 2.5 (right eye), now i have 6/5 vision (super normal vision)  in left eye and 6/6 vision (normal vision) in right eye.

It costs a bit more but its very much helpful.

contact me if u need any more info, regarding this.

    thanks,

    srini
