In very early childhood , the answer is yes, later on, it is by experimentation, trial; and error, repition and chance also play a part when we become prepubescent adults, and experience, when we later become adults ourselves, then immitation is seen as mockery, and not generally the path we choose to learn by, unless we elect to have a coach for some purposes...


  2. Humans learn by imitation all the time. Especially in early childhood.

    You copy others' answers or what thery've learned, but in order to learn what you've copied to them, you must understand it.
