Does lemon juice help to lighten hair?

I have a relatively light brown hair colour and i want to make it even lighter. Does lemon juice work? I hear you have to out in the sun for 2-3 hours though, and that sounds like alot.

It might have an effect but It'd be a waste of time. Try bleach and toner. That'll do the trick.

no but u can try spraying a little clorox the quickly wash it and walla i tried it and it worked

Right.  Expose yourself to skin cancer so you can have blonder hair.

but u have to lay out in the sun but not for that long...maybe an hour but u dont have to lay you can just go play out there....u know like jump on the tramp, walk ur dog...w/e

just dont swim cause then the juice would come out lol

YEAH IT DOES CAUSE OF THE CITRIC ACID BUT PEROXIDE DOES TO AND YOU DONT HAVE TO BE IN THE SUN THAT LONG AND DONT USE AS MUCH
