i'm a redhead and i have a bunch of freckles that are just blotched together on my face, and i've been looking around and most things i've read recommend lemon juice or honey. when they say these do they mean what you buy at a grocery store? the lemon juice that comes in the little plastic lemon and the honey with all of the sugar in it?

will they cause breakouts?

  1. Forget the lemon juice, it doesn't work anyway.  Girls with freckles are HOT! The more freckles a girl has the HOTTER she looks! Freckles are the first asset I look for on a girl before asking her out on a date. A girl without freckles is like a night without stars. Freckles are so HOT that there are even web sites dedicated to women covered in freckles and the guys who love them. Freckles ROCK!

  2. Just put on some makeup

  3. they go away with age

  4. Eh...it lightens hair...so...maybe...but probably not.

Try a skin lightener or bleach.

Or the microphoton face machine from yourlizzy.com, it's gotten good reviews

  5. Have you been watching The Brady Bunch? I swear there was an episode where the one little girl uses lemon juice on her freckles cause she thought they were ugly, and then overheard someone say how cute they were. She cried a lot and thought her freckles would just vanish. They didn't, and most likely won't if you attempt to do this either.

Honey is actually good for skin, great for clearing pimples. I hear lemon juice is a good spot treatment for acne, so I doubt they would cause breakouts unless you have sensitive skin (the lemon juice acids may irritate your skin).

Freckles are beautiful, and usually people with freckles have excellent skin.

Stay out of direct sunlight without a good sunscreen, as sun exposure tends to darken freckles and is bad for your skin anyway.

If your freckles really bother you, you can go through the hassle of wearing foundation or concealer to hide them.

Don't use skin lighteners/bleachers, as they usually have harsh chemical in them that I doubt are good for your skin.

Good luck, and please, just learn to love what you have. Nobody should have to cover their "flaws". Think of yourself as unique and beautiful, and others will take notice of your confidence and see your true beauty.

  6. I'd be afraid of burning my skin.

  7. I don't know if it'll help (but some people have alergy from lemon juice or honney it can couse rush)

mushed parshley helps (I used it)

    \good luck

  8. um..idk.but i think u should love your freckles cause not oh a lot of people have them and its rare!

    but i got some ;-]

  9. i dont think try makeup.

  10. Ask your dermatologist-- mine faded away by the time I was 18 and because I wore SPF and stayed out of the sun. Also, try this make up:

    http://www.justforredheads.com/

It's (obviously) make up just for red heads so it matches your skin tone perfectly and hides freckles well.

  11. If you don't want freckles, then either stay out of the sun or slather on the SPF. You should be doing that anyway to avoid wrinkles, sunspots, and skin cancer. Year-round.

  12. Don't worry be natural, never try to go totally against mother nature.

    You don't wanna be fake.lolz

  13. Nothing gets rid of freckles.
