Does lifting weights also increase pecs and shoulder size?

2 weeks ago i just recently started weight lifting properly, i have noticed my pecs are also increasing in size and so are my shoulders.

Apart from increasing biceps, does weight lifting have anything to do with the increase of pecs and shoulders?

  1. depending the way you lift but yes lifting weights can increase your pecs


  2. depends what sort of lifts you are doing.

    Bicep crunches wont really target pecs, where as a bench press will target pecs specifically.

  3. yes yes yes.. best way 2 get size... fatten yourself up.. for about 6 months... then gym with very heavy weights for a few months... then use very light weights... works wonders!

  4. Yes, if you exercise pecs and shoulders it will also increase the size of pecs and shoulders.  But, if you do just biceps, this will also exercise pecs and shoulders and increase their size, it just does not focus on them.

  5. If you train properly all your muscles should develop properly.
