Question:

Does lifting weights make your body change ? or will mines take longer ?im suffering?

i've been dieting for awhile and i know i've lost weight because i can fit into smaller clothes but i still look fat and ugly. my body shape looks weird and i hate it. my face is full of fat like a balloon because the fat on my face is shaped round but my face is suare or heart shaped and i cant even see my jawbone and my cheeks stick out and everybody notice how fat my face is. i do push ups , crunches but my body is still soft and giggly. i jump rope for cardio and do other different forms of cardio. i lift only 10 pound weights because i dont want to get bulky. i have a skinny neck but i cant see my adams apple. my calves are full of fat. everything is hard underneath. do i need to lose more weight or lift weights. i have a friend who is bigger than me but he isnt chubby because he lift weights. im a eighteen year old male 5'6 165, should i be 140-130

  1. If you are large and lose weight, you just look smaller you don't look better.  This is because you haven't improved your body composition.  Thats why lifting weights is so important.

    Keep up the dieting and the exercising, but add weight lifting.  Give it time and you're appearance will improve.


  2. Strength training is going to be your way to get what you want.  Free weights are best, I know you don't want websites but unless you hire a trainer to teach you the right exercises and form to achieve what you want you need to educate yourself on it... so visit this site:

    Strength training will not bulk you up unless that is what you want.  You can tone and strengthen the muscles with low weight and lots of reps without acquiring the bulk of a body builder.  But educate yourself on form so you have no injuries.  Good Luck!

  3. All you need to do is do weights that will help cause other wise i dont know what to say...you cant just do all of this working out and see no results plus if your a guy most ppl like seeing guys that have GUNS lol (muscles) so go for the weights

  5. Stick with the weights and wait for the end result. The more muscle you have the faster you burn up calories. You don't have to lift heavy weight. If you do repetitiions you'll build endurance and end up with a cut detailed muscular body while still burning cals.

  7. I'd say go jogging everyday, for half an hour. You will see a change in your body.
