Yes.  Lightening is a very large electrical current that can blow a hole in a house.  If it can blow a hole in a house, it can blow apart your digital watch or melt the whole thing.  That would disrupt the watch.  If the lightening does not hit the watch, then the only way it would have any effect is if the field from the bolt were large enough to cause a malfunction.  For this to be the case, the bolt would have to strike very close to the watch.  A bolt that was more than 100 feet away would be too far to do anything to a watch
