You could mess up your computer if you download something with virus in it which basically has a very high chance...all these file sharing stuff these days...

But I doubt if you could mess up your iPod though there is a chance as there are now viruses that attack the iPod

yeah it will fry your pc if you are dumb enough to download a virus

i would avoid software, or songs that dont have a "Length" part to indicate how long they are

yea, it really messed up my computer. it game me some viruses, nothing too serious, but it slowed my connection down a lot. i would suggest downloading things off google.

for example, if you wanted to download say like 4 Minutes by Madonna. you could simply search 4 minutes MP3 download on google. or perhaps if you wanted a whole album, you can do the same technique or search "album name in here" megaupload "artist name in here" but that's just me. good luck!
