Unfortunately Lime wire can not only slow down your computer but send viruses through the music you download. It Crashed my computer permanently  and I was Silly enough to use it on my laptop to and the same thing happened. I would not recommend it. Instead search Youtube for the songs you want like this : Girls just wanna have fun with download and they will give you links. Any More queries don't hesitate to message me. :)

Actually, it really depends on what is the specification of your computer.  It does not matter if you have an old PC or a New one.  If you have a small memory on your computer, then maybe it would really slow you down.  LimeWire do eat up some memory when opened.

No it will not but if your computer is over 5 years old it may have some effect.  But also your CPU and RAM will have some effect but it will only use around 8 % of resourses.
