Does liquid eyeliner on top lid look trampy?

i heard it does

im going into 8th grade.

i just started wearing liquid eyeliner on my top lid and my family tells me it looks really good

i only wear liquid eyeliner on the toplid and mascara on the top lashes.

people on yahoo answers call that trampy...why?

not really unless you do it like amy winehouseand im going to ninth grade everyone has makeup on now. just be careful with the liquid eyeliner because it got in my eyes a few times and burned like crazy. lol

no not at all... it brings out your eyes.... if you think you put to much on... cover it with alittle bit of eye shadow. and put pencil liner on the bottom

I personally dont like the top eyelid thing .

I dont know why ! I think so many people do it and it can make your eyes look small - but at the end of the day its up to you what you do - if you feel  good with it like that then keep it xD

ugh I hate liner ONLY on the top lid. looks extremely weird. Put some on the bottom to even things out. then it might not look so "trampy"

it does not look trampy, i wear it like that but ten times worse and people say they like it. i say **** them they suck ***! ha.

I've seen a lot of people who wear loads of liquid eyeliner on their top lid and it looks awful. But I've seen a lot who look fine. As long as you get the right amount for what suits you, it'll be fine. If your family says it is, it probably is. Your parents probably wouldn't want you going out if you looked trampy!

Alot of people on yahoo answers are complete idiots and injoy abusing people and making them feel like they look stupid. If your family like it - and they have seen it in real life - it probably looks really good!!

Ask your friends for some advice on whether they like it as well as your family. They might have some tips.

If you search any beauty website or look for tutorials on youtube they ALL reccomend putting eyeliner on your eyelid on top of you lashes - so what you are doing is perfectly fine and doesnt look trashy. It makes your lashes look longer and have more volume; making your eyes look bigger and prettier. Make sure you do it neatly and sublty, and i bet it looks wonderful :)

It really depends on what shape your eyes are and what look you're going for. My eyes are pretty big and have a nice size lid with long eyelashes so I wet a dab of black powder with my liner brush and draw a line on my upper lid, and I line my bottom with a dark brown pencil. I get MANY compliments on my eyes when I do them this way. Sometiems I go without lining the bottom, but I always feel like it needs that extra boost. If you ask me, I personally think it looks tackier when girls smear black all along the bottom of their eyes... That's just me though!

Unless you are doing too think, with huge hair and lips too red for your own right.

You are in Eight Grade, I would suggest stay off the makeup til you're older. Coz once makeup becomes a habit, it is hard to break out of the monotony look you have become fixated to.

I rather keep your face clear of makeup.

If you need... heaps of mascara, a touch of blush and coloured lipbalm will pleasant for more dressy days. Of course draw in the brows always for brining focus to your face.

it may depend, if you use top much or dont put it on neatly it may look bad. but if you apply it carefully it shouldnt make you look trampy and you shouldnt listen to everything everyone says coz everyone got thier views on things, it doesnt make them right. i hope i helped :D

Because they are full of c**p. I usually only wear eyeliner (liquid more times than not) on my top lid. It makes your lashline look much fuller and beautiful. It can look trampy if you draw very thick lines that take up the lower half of your lid. A tip though: Be sure to make the line extend and flare out past your eye lash line. It makes your eyes look bigger and gives it that classic Audrey "Breakfast at Tiffany's" look.

I honestly think it looks worse if you only line the bottom lid. It looks unbalanced and tends to run and smear, giving you raccoon eyes, which is pretty trashy. And lining both lids too heavily makes your eyes look beady.

That's just my opinion though.

thats what i do to bc eyeliner smudges more when you put it on the bottom, same with mascara....idk wht their talkin about but ignore it. just dont overdo the makeup bc thas whats trampy...answer mine
