  1. I think it's more the fact that it takes your mind off the fact that you're running and gives you something else to focus on.

When you run without music, all you can do is listen to your feet hitting the pavement, feel your breath, count your steps, and get tired... but music is motivational. :) You feel good when you're listening to it, tend to maybe run along in step, and you don't get tired as quickly as you would without it.

  2. in a way yes! BUT it only makes it seem faster!!! While listening to music your mind wonders and takes the focus off the physical activity at hand! So in a way yes and no but either way it makes running so much more enjoyable!!!

  3. Yes, sometimes, and more importantly it makes exercise on the whole much more enjoyable, which in turn reinforces this healthy activity.

  4. Upbeat music makes me more energetic. Has nothing to do with how fast you run, it just makes it more enjoyable.

  5. Listening to classical music makes you think faster

  6. I don't know, but it definately makes you drive faster!!
