Does listening to the radio on your phone free?

I am new to phones any everything.. just got it 2 days ago!

but .. idk if they charge you to listen to the radio like the internet and everything else?

I have sony ericsson w580i with AT&T

the radio is free, as it's a regular fm radio built in the phone, it doesn't use the internet
