My mom insists she heard this somewhere and I can't find the answer anywhere to either make it agreed or show her the truth. So, if anyone out there has some real answers to this, please let me know.

  1. It keeps you INSIDE, and any "weirdos" OUTSIDE. It also is less likely to fly open in the event of a crash or rollover which also keeps you INSIDE......so security and safety too...

Don't forget to wear your seatbelt........

I would worry more about your personal safety and security than being in a rollover or a crash, although if it's your first two years of driving, you really need to pay attention and not be distracted by things such as "texting", "cellphones ringing"(turn it off when you get in your car)...changing cd's at inappropriate times, getting into distracting conversations with friends...........so many reasons to pay attention AND to lock your doors.

    Enjoy your summer!

  2. NO

  3. Stronger no but safer yes.........

  4. a lock is a mini latch so no it wouldn't make you any safer. b/c what if you were knoncked out cold and your doors were lock and bystanders will have a hard time getting to you in time.
