Does logging into your yahoo email or messenger automatically log you into yahoo personals?

Here is the problem......my fiance's yahoo personal account shows active within the last 3 days and as of this morning active within the last 24 hours. I finally confronted him about it but he said he hasn't used the account since march but he checks his email and messenger everyday. And that by doing that it logs him into yahoo personals without ever going to the actual website. And is there a way to check and see when the last time the profile was updated? This would ease a lot of tension if I could get a straight answer. thanks
