Does looks get the girl, or the personality?

Because I'm very happy, mainly proud, funny, and cheerful in real life. But I have a few blemishes. [a few pimples, a few scars, a little redness, nothing servere.]

girls mature earlier than boys do so we generally don't think of looks as as much of a factor as personality. basically, you can't be  ugly, but you don't necessarily have to be attractive, if you know what i mean. but personality is the main factor.

=) it's not all about looks.  Personality plays a HUGE part.  I love a funny guy, someone who's spontaneous,  not afraid to be embarrassed and caring. I found a guy like this and he's not perfect, but I love his rugged look because I love him for who he is.  That's how it works.  

Any woman who goes on looks alone is shallow.
