  1. it can, i believe doctors say that it would be a good idea for the female to keep her legs up for several minutes if this is an issue in not getting pregnant.

  2. Absolutely not -- they will swim upstream just fine.  You have exactly the same chance of conception as you would if you shot 6 feet.

  3. Possibly. The more pressure there is, the easier it is for the sperm to reach the uterus and possibly fertilise an egg, because it 'shoots' higher up inside the v****a. Thousands of sperm will die on the journey from the v****a to the uterus, so the higher up they are to start with, the better chance they stand of reaching the intended destination. But I don't think it has a major effect on whether an egg is fertilised or not, because there are so many other factors at work that have to be 'just right'.

But I do know that when my friends were trying for a baby, as well as planning everything else like the timing of her cycle and stuff, they would also go without s*x for a few days in the lead-up to the 'best day' to make sure the quality of the sperm was high and it also went a lot further...if you get me!

Also, think about it - if a man goes without s*x or masturbation for a few days, when he ejaculates, there is a lot more force behind it and a lot more sperm than there would be with a man who had s*x or masturbated on a daily basis. It's just common sense, really.

  4. Yes.

  5. your boys won't have the momentum to swim upstream ;)

    they need a little push

  6. No, it doesn't. Why would it?
