  1. I love the name Macy!  It goes well with the other names of your daughters.  My only thought is maybe you should look for a middle name with one syllable as all the other girls have a one syllable middle name as well.  How about Faith?  Hope or Jo?  Or Lynn?

Have fun - the name Macy will be adorable.

    Good luck!

  2. Its okay. Out of all ur girls i think u should have a nice unique name like Lexi or Alicia or Massie or Koryn or Anabell or Laurell or Kaysee or Millie or Kirsten or Jasmine or Gabrielle or Ena(On-a) or Alexandria or Juliet or Demitria( demi-tria) or Selena or Blake or America or Stella or Maybelle or Mary beth or Kacey Gabrielle or Lexi Olivia or Sayleen Laurell. Bless your family  and i hope you find the perfect name for your new daughter and i hope she brings you great joy and happiness.

  3. Personally, I think Macy Holly sounds strange together. I love them as seperate names, but not paired. They both end with the long E sound as in baby or maybe. I would try to pair them with a different middle name. How about:

    Macy Rose

    Macy Paige

    Macy Elyse

    Macy Lauren

    Holly Paige

    Holly Alyssa

    Holly Lynn

    Holly Joyce

    Good luck!

  4. No, it does not flow well with the first name.

You need to chose a one syllibal name for the middle name. Examples: Macy Lee; Macy Ann, or Macy Kay.

Or, pick a two syllibal name with the emphasis on the last syllibal. Examples: Macy Darlene, Macy Nicole, Macy Marie.

Last, you can pick more than two syllibals, like Macy MacKenzie (My favorite).

  5. Seriously, no, it doesn't fit well with Holly, however we don't have a last name to attach it to so we need more info.  what month will she be born?  Pick 3 names for her and wait till she is born and observe her first then choose the name that best fits her personality. You will know  in the first few minutes after birth what works best.

  6. i like both Macy and Holly as names, but not together because they both end in Y

your other girl's first names are all two syllable and the middle names are all one syllable, so you might think about keeping with that pattern

i also think if i chose the name Macy, i would spell it Macye or Macey do be different

    Macy Anne

    Holly June

    Macy Faith

    Holly Faith

    Holly Dawn

    Macy Brook

    Holly Jade

    Holly Jane

    Holly Jayne

here is a site with some one syllable names

    http://tamarrion.tripod.com/id4.html

i love the other girl's names btw

and Congrats on your new addition, what a lovely family you must have:))

  7. Noooo....I wouldn't choose Macy. Macy reminds me of the department store...but Holly can work.

Just name her after somebody in your family, like your mom, grandmother, sisters, aunts, or any close friends. Write down all their names and middle names on a piece of paper and try to put some together to see which fits.

  8. i like it.

it goes, they are all cute

    suggestions:

    try

    Holly Rose

    or Macy Rose

    or Macy Love

    or Macy Emery

    or Macy Skye

    or Macy Hope

Be different, but having 2 y's at the end sound like Macy Gracy, it's cute but it sounds more like a song then a name, and you dont want them to hate their name.

Hope i helped, and good luck!

  9. OMG!!! sooo adorable! I love the name Macy Holly... but i think these are some cute ones tooo: Lilly, Lyra, Paige, Aada as in A-duh, Carolynne, Aceline, Isabella, Carmiya, Madeline, Leah.........but you better stick with macy because it definately fits in with the rest of your girls names!!!!    Love It!

  10. It seems ok on its own.  Its hard to judge the flow of a name without adding its last name (NO! Do not post that).  Its just that I've always looked at overall flow.

    That said...

ana13170 had a great suggestion to consider with Macy Lynn.

My additional suggestions would be Macy Lou or Mary Louise.

Perhaps you should get a list of possibilities, then only decide after meeting her.  The name my mother originally picked out before my birth was changed after she met me...  The original name would not have even come close to fitting my personality....

  11. i love the macy part, but i agree that i dont feel like the Holly sounds right next to it. it looks like your going with like the middle name that has like means im not really sure how to say that but maybe Faith or Hope.

  12. actually i think you should switch them

    make it Holly Macy

i love the name Holly i was going to name my little girl that but then i combined the names from my favorite book series for 2 girls.

but i think you should switch it it would just flow easier and it goes better with all the other names.

  13. Macy Holly for some reason...doesn't flow for me sorry.

But if you like the name Macy then maybe Macy Raye or Macy Kayti

or Macy Nicole or Macy Lisa.

I know a lot of those might

not flow in your ears but

    hey everyones got

a different tune that flows for them.

  14. It's what you like that counts. I think the name is cute. The only objection I have is to parents giving their kids odd names like Apple, Scout, etc just because the parents want something different, and not considering what is best for the child.

  15. I really like Macy and think it goes great with the other girl's names.  I think Macy Holly isn't the best choice though.  It doesn't flow smoothly in my opinion.  Also then Sarah would be the only one who's middle name didn't end in a Y.  What about:

    Macy Faith

    Macy Brianne

    Macy Kristine

    Macy Lee

    Macy Arianna

    Macy Kathrine

  16. First thing I noted was that the 1st three names all have 3 syllables.  Should stick to the pattern you have started I suppose.  How do these sound?  I do like Macy!  Just add a single syllable middle name to match the others.

    Macy Hope

    Macy Faith

    Macy Belle

  17. My friend is Sarah Grace too but that is besides the point! Anyway Macy Holly is a little too y-ish/ y-ie, however you wanna say it. She'd have to be a very bubbly/outgoing girl for that name but if you like it a lot then go ahead and keep it cause it isn't bad. It's a nice name it's just a really really happy/bouncy name if you know what I mean!

  18. Macy is ok and so is Holly, but together they do not flow at all.  The rest of your girl's name flow very well. Macy & Holly together is awkward.  I would pick your fave btween Macy and Holly, then add a simpler middle name (like your other girls- they have one syllable middle names, which do not both end with the same long e sound like Macy Holly does-say it slowly & u will see what I mean).  Good luck.

  19. I love your girl's names!

Macy goes great with them, I would not keep the middle name though. They both end in a y so it just doesn't sound right.

What about Macy Hope? Macy Lynn? Macy Adorn? Macy Noelle? Macy Faith? Macy Bliss, I like how that sounds. Or What ever month she was born in could me her middle name, Like Macy April, Macy June, and so on. I really like the name Macy.

  20. its okay. but with the other names the middle name provides a kind of end to it. its like with sarah grace. the grace gives the first name a kind of ending to it. but with macy holly it seems like it doent end. i cant really explan it, but you will know what to do.

  21. I don't really like Macy as a first name. I would flip flop them and go Holly Macy. That sounds cute.

Holly is a good name. I'm a teacher and have a thing with names being associated with personalities (because I see so many kids with so many names). Holly is a good name.

  22. Well, Macy and Holly are very pretty names by themselves, but when put together, they don't work well. This would probably be because both end in the same 'y' sound.

The name Macy actually means 'weapon' or in Gaelic, 'a low hill' and is of French origin. Holly is of Anglo Saxon and Old English origins and means 'the holly tree' as in the Christmas decoration, so as you can see, they're both pretty, but don't go well with each other.

I think that you could keep one name and the change the other to something else. My suggestions are:

    Macy Jane/June

    Macy Georgia

    Macy Pearl

    Macy Oriel/Oriele

    Macy Florida/Flora

    Macy Delilah

    Macy Belle

    Macy Laurel

    or:

    Jacinda Holly

    Jasmine Holly

    Saffron Holly

    Ellen Holly

    Samantha Holly

    Catherine Holly

    Linda Holly

    Patricia Holly

    Jessica Holly

    Gabrielle Holly

Our of all of them, these are the more exotic ones:

    Macy Pearl

    Macy Oriel/Oriele

    Macy Florida/Flora

    Macy Belle

    Macy Laurel

    Jacinda Holly

    Jasmine Holly

    Saffron Holly

And out of all of them, thes are the ons that I really like:

    Macy Pearl

    Macy Oriel/Oriele

    Macy Florida/Flora

    Macy Belle

    Macy Laurel

    Jacinda Holly

    Jasmine Holly

    Saffron Holly

    Ellen Holly

    Jessica Holly

    Gabrielle Holly

Good luck on choosing a name for your lovely new child-to-be - hope my suggestions have helped.

    Best wishes.

  23. I love Holly, I like Macy (although I would spell it Macey) but I don't think they go very well together, with the 2 "y" sounds at the end. A bit of a mouthful. Maybe choose your favourite of the two names, and find another 1 syllable name you like, the same as your other children eg. May, Joy, Grace. A couple of suggestions would be Lee, Lyn, Faith, Jane, Ann(e), Fay(e), Ruth,

The rest of your girls have beautiful names too by the way :)

  24. I think that the name Macy goes perfectly with your other kid's names.  I too would suggest a different middle name.  I don't like the sound of the y's on both names together.  Macy Hope?  Macy Faith?  I noticed your twins had Joy and Grace for middle names, so I thought you might like the other 2 I suggested.

  25. It has 2 y's so it dont sound as good.  Maybe you could change it to like Macy hope or something...lol  Im not good at the middle names i just like to name the middle names after ppl cause its easier.  Im going to name my next daughter Addison Eileen.

  26. I think Macy is super cute!

    but-

holly does sound a bit strange with it.

    what about;

    macy hope

    macy elizabeth

    macy lynn

    macy teresa

    goodluck!

  27. Good grief I hope you're not planning on giving your kid a double name. They will most likely hate it for their entire lives, I mean they're simply too long. It's your choice but personally I think Macy Holly is an absolutely horrible name. Nothing wrong with keeping tradition alive, but don't make your child suffer for it; it's going to last them their entire life.

  28. Macy is a fine name.  my mother's co-worker is named Marcy and she is such a cool person.  i can talk to her when i visit my mom, and when i have a kid, i might name one Marcy because she is so cool. just my little advice! :-) enjoy your new child.

  29. I think that Macy Holly sounds a bit funny together. Macy, yeah fine, very pretty but not paired with Holly. I love all of your other girls names as well.

Here's some more girl names suggestions:

    Aaliyah,Acacia,Alaina,

    Alyssa,Amia,Ashlee,

    Aubrey,Bethany,

    Amara, Lilah, Simone

    Amani,Claire, Michelle, Elizabeth.

    Renee, Katherine, Lily, Sierra

    Amber

    Hope I help :)

  30. Macy goes with the rest of your girls' names.

But Holly just doesn't flow. It's the repetitive strong 'E' sound. What about a middle name that doesn't end in that sound?

    Suggestions:

    Macy Elizabeth

    Macy Lynn

    Macy Nicole

    Hope this helps!

  31. When you say it, it sounds a little clunky. I'd try for a middle name with one syllable. I'd go with Macy Jane. I can't really think of any more names that have one syllable and sound decent with Macy. This is my opinion, though. It's your kid.
