  1. Like any other fruit juice, mango juice has natural sugar which means calories.  If you drink it instead of soda pop, it's going to be good for you, because of all the vitamins and minerals and even fiber (if it's thick nectar).  But if you drink it instead of water, it's going to add calories to your daily intake (still good for you, but calories make you gain weight).  It will, however, fill you up and prevent you from intaking other calories.  As with anything else, if you drink mango juice in moderation, it can help you lose weight, especially if it's replacing "empty" calories such as soda, cookies, chips, white bread, etc.  It's a very healthy juice.

  2. is it? i don't think so

  3. I highly doubt that. As long as your having it in moderation with a balanced diet then of course not. Mango juice contains vitamin C and can be very beneficial to a diet. Make sure you buy a brand that isn't loaded with added sugar.

  4. well fruit juice of any kind, doesnt have "fat" in it.. it has sugar calories.. which can be fattening if you drink too much calories than you need..

fruits are much better eaten in whole form due to the good fiber than to juice them.. its almost like empty calories..

having said this.. if you drink mango juice every now and then, and just a small 6oz glass, its ok.. its not ok to drink a huge tumbler filled with it.. all the time in place of water..

just drink it in moderation and try to eat more whole fresh fruits to get the benefits of fiber.. ^_^

  5. Well there is no fat or bad things in natural juice. They will have natural sugars and carbs in them and calories though. When it comes to weight it simply is a matter of total calories consumed versus total calories burned. Even though some foods have more calories, fat, carbs, sugars, cholesterol, or whatever than other foods that can make them less healthy than other foods it still comes down to calories. If you consume more than you burn then you gain weight. If you burn more than you consume then you loose weight.

  6. All fruit juices don't contain "fats", but since they contain sugar they contain calories!! I advice u to make fresh mango juice at home but without adding sugar, choose a sweet ripe mango!!!!!!!!

    Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!
