  1. Potential...yes.  Work ethic?  That is another question all together.

  2. yeah. the warriors needed a backup pg.

  3. Coming out of college this kid was highly touted. He was being compared to that of Derron Williams. That's a pretty big comparison. He was projected to be a top 10 pick in the draft, and the only reason he dropped was because of character issues(he stole a school laptop in his freshmen year). This guy was able to grow quite a bit under the tutelage of Jason Kidd, and he was slated to be the heir to Kidd's throne as PG. Being injured a lot of last season ended his bid at starting because the Nets got Devin Harris. Williams is strictly a PG, and can pass, shoot the 3 and he can handle the ball. He is all the potential in the world, and I think Nellie will bring out this potential and he will become a star with Golden State, he is only 22 and if he does good, we will be seeing him and Monta patrolling the Warriors back court for years to come. I'm excited about this move. I remember watching Williams a few times on TNT and I really liked him. Now I get to watch him play almost everyday! Williams will impress.
