What is your issue with race?  Almost all your genealogy questions are about who has black ancestors or white ancestors.  What is it you want to know about him on the 1930 census?  His race?  I imagine so since that is what you are so focused on.  I checked and it is listed as n.egro, and that of his parents as well.
