Does masturbation decrease testosterone or increase testosterone which triggers the increase in estrogen?

I know masturbation decreases sperm count, but does that mean it decreases your testosterone level? If its the opposite, then it increases your testosterone level which will make estrogen level higher because it needs to balance out the testosterone? does that make sense?

  1. Your body does not know the difference between ejaculation during masturbation and ejaculation during intercourse.

Every day, your body makes several hundred million sperm (at least 100 million).  From start to finish, a sperm takes about 64 days to form, and your body is busily, constantly making new ones!

Masturbating (or having s*x) of course decreases your sperm count.  But your body is designed to produce sperm, so a normal healthy male shouldn't worry about how ejaculation is affecting his hormone levels.

For more specific information, you may want to read about spermatogenesis (how the body produces and matures sperm), which is a process that's a little too complicated to outline in Answers.

  2. no

  3. No it does not. Masturbation is healthy and will not affect you in anyway, and  I don't really know if it decreases sperm count or not.. Otherwise masturbation does not affect you.

  4. LOL. No, it doesn't make sense.

Your body naturally replenishes your sperm. Your sperm count doesn't effect your testosterone level just like your estrogen level doesn't effect your testosterone level.
