I don't know how this is supposed to work, are there only some psychologists who accept medicaid? Will I have to search around? Will I have a co-pay? Any information is useful. Thank You

  1. The answer is YES medicaid does cover if you see a psychologist. You just have to find a psychologist that takes medicaid. Call around to different mental health facilities or you  may obtain a list from your local agency where you applied for medicaid. Good Luck hon.

  2. Medicaid does cover seeing a psychologist but you will have to locate one who accepts it.

  3. medicare does but medicaid depends on what the state providing it is willing to cover I used to live in a state where medicaid did not cover any mental health including meds, so you need to call your provider and ask them
