  1. It depends (as it was already pointed out). Try logging on to your local municipality's website to find out what holidays affect parking regulations. In NYC, there's a notation MIE, meters-in effect, which lets us know what holidays to feed the meters.


  2. Depends on your local laws.  It is probably also posted somewhere around the place you're trying to park.

  3. Check the signs...if it says mon-fri, or mon-sat, it will be ok to park for free on sundays and public holidays, if the sign says mon-sun, dont park there without paying.
