  1. No, Metro-North ends at Poughkeepie on Hudson, Wassaic Plains on Harlem Line.

    If you need to go to Syracuse, you must take Amtrak from either NY Penn Station, Croton-Harmon, Poughkeepie Station to Sycrause station.


  2. It only goes as far as Poughkeepsie, which is halfway between New York and Albany. You'll need to take Amtrak. It's often cheaper to take a bus than to take the train.
