  1. Well my guess is that a that a military personnel would get paid more than a civilian. Plus you get living and housing bonuses. So an MP gets more then a civilian police officer.

  2. He gets paid by his rank, pvt, sgt, etc

  3. In every branch of the military it doesn't matter what your job is, you get paid based on your pay-grade, which corresponds to rank.

  4. MP's get paid much less since they are in the Armed Forces, but its a great way to serve your country, get experience, and makes it much easier t be a cop when you get out.

  5. you are pretty much payed by your rank. you can get paid for for some other things such as if you have a family or are living off base but it usually all depends on your rank

  6. no. MP's do not get paid as much as civilian police officers.

to make it easy a private MP will get paid around a 1350.00 a month, compared to the average of 4,000.00 a month, for a police officer.

    hope i helped you

  7. MP is the job. Look at military base pay in relation to rank. You start off as an E-1 and will probably make E-4 by your third or fourth year.

  8. The military pay is based on rank.  Go to www.military.com and check out the pay scale.

  9. When comparing apples to apples...no.

  10. its totally dependent on your rank...and how much the officers in your area get paid...

  11. IF you are referring to a military MP, in some cases you could but starting out no. Take into consideration there are many things that you would not pay on active duty. As A DOD PO, some things are discounted

  12. it depends on what town the police work in.  military pay rates are listed in this chart:
