Does milk make u thirsty?

It may feel that way because of the higher protein content and the sugars in the milk.  They coat the mouth that coating stays in the mouth and throat.  The sugars tend to make you thirsty.  

At least this is what I have surmised the feeling that I also get comes from.  Since it does not happen with sugary drinks I figured it must be the lactose and proteins.

I guess not because milk still have liquid in it and liquid makes you not thirsty.
