  1. I like eating grapes.

  2. Misery consumes us until we've had enough of it. What's the root cause of the misery? It's hard to be honest about it sometimes and take the necessary steps to do away w/ the root cause (no-I don't mean kill him) but that's what it takes to stop the misery.

  3. No, they have ate of your sawdust laden cookies and nothing remains but a tummy ache.

  4. Never thought of it that way, but, yes, I guess it could. Depression and anxiety can cause serious health problems, mentally and physically.

Misery is a terrible thing to have to live with and should be eliminated as soon as possible.

  5. Well, it depends on how you channel the misery. If you sit and dwell on how miserable you are, and how nothing in life will ever change, that there's no way to get past it and you might as well just give up now, then yes.

However, if you take a different path, say focusing the misery in a negative way on others, and live your life in an attempt to bring others down with you (you know that phrase, "misery loves company") then I think eventually the misery will dissipate, because even though you are unhappy, you have others to be unhappy with.

There is the third rout, one that is most difficult to travel, in which you do a little "soul searching" to figure out why it is you feel so miserable, and then make a pact with yourself to relieve some of the misery, if not rid yourself of it all together. You have to be a real fighter and a solid person to successfully take that road, though.

Then there's that whole thing with nature vs. nurture and how a person reacts to different situations and all that jazz... but there's no need to get into that just yet.

  6. pull out the old tape and replace it with the want you want to hear. It is up to you.

  7. Yes I believe so. I am no doctor however, in my opinion It leads into or is the same as depression and sometimes a person doesn't even realize the life they are living because of it, they just go through the motions of everyday tasks like a robot.  It is very hard to break the cycle of misery/depression alone and may lead to suicidal thoughts as well.

Many times, if not all the time, people need people to reach out and pull a person out of it.  However it can be done,  and once that happens a person who was once miserable/depressed can "feel" again and have love in themselves again.

    (((Ella))) Great to see you!

  8. I think misery would only continue to eat away at people as long as people keep giving it something to eat away at.

  9. Time is the healer of all things, which is a silly thing to say to people who are still "in" the misery. But it's definitely true.

Perhaps if you were alone, unable to resume your life as normal, it might eat you away.
