Does missing a pill at the end of the first week in a pack make ovulation more likely than missing a pill in the 2nd or 3rd week of the pack? I'm on ortho tri cyclin lo.

Missing the pill made enough of a difference in my hormone levels to cause breakthrough bleeding, if that matters.

  1. I take the same thing, and in the directions it has detailed directions for if you miss any of the 4 different pills. If you dont have the directions open up a new pack and read them. I just did that and looked up the directions for you and it says to take the pill as soon as you remember. That may mean taking two pills in one day, and continue to take the pills at your designated time. You do not need a back-up contraceptive to have s*x. No biggie =]
