Does money break when playing pool?

This means that if my quarters are on the table to play next... does money break when the next game comes up or does winner break?

Well if you won the money, you probably won the game, so you would be one breaking next.  Incidentally, huh?  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

Winners CHOICE.  It's winner's break always but if he doesn't want to he can give the break to you.  Some people like to go for the 8 off the break or break and run, some would rather you break and open up the rack for them.

I concur, the player at the table breaks, unless they defer to the incoming player.

The player at the table has control, and gets to decide who breaks, the game played, and the rules used (unless there are posted house rules).
