  1. Your question is admirable (It takes courage to ask the question where the answer is obvious but but taboo .The admission of a yes answer is  the taboo answer.

Yes, moneyed people have always occupied the higher positions , houses, recognitions etc.

They feel superior to the rest of us, especially the less-moneyed and non moneyed among us.

Because they feel superior and we feel inferior having less money than they do, it stands to reason that they are "superior" because we attribute (hand it over) to them that superiority..

  2. Money is useful but sure isn't everything.

  3. Paris Hilton? Muhahahah! Dude, if money wasn't worth anything tomorrow, how long do you think she'd survive? Use her 'charming personality'? Her 'looks'? Put her up against yourself. How long could you survive? I'll bet you have WAY more skills in life, in just one hand, than she has in her whole body! NO ONE is more superior to anyone else!

You might have skills, or an inherent quality that I, your next-door neighbor, or anyone of millions of people, do not have. NEVER sell yourself short! I believe ONE kindness shown from YOU, to another human being, is worth all the money in the world, much less what trifling amount SHE has! Truly RICH people, are those that have learned about life, and living it. Live life to the fullest EVERY day, then you will be RICH!

  4. no it makes you ego bigger and fat like a extremely over weight guy on a couch. They start off good then the money eats them alive.

  5. Moeny has very little value if any it's only the value we place on it that makes it worth anything. If moeny lost it's value we could not eat it, wear it, or use it to shelter us. They earth was free once. We didn't have to buy it or own it even our food was free it grew wild. But Stuffism replaced common sense. No one can really own the land all we can do is borrow it for a short time. The peice of paper that says you own your house is worthless if the government decides that they can take it from you and if the government falls the government won't even own the land anymore either so who does it belong to. It doesn't belong to anyone, because all we can be are stewards of the land for a short time.

Luxury when people are suffering is a horrible thing to have if the people that flaunt there wealth suddenly find they are hated and threaten, because they ignored the needs of the people around them. Then I think they get what they deserve. Even when the country falls and moeny is not worth anything they will still have the resources to survive and the means to get temselves and their families out of trouble. The rest of us will be the ones to suffer because who remebers what plants are edible or weather you can eat certain wild animals for food. Don't forget if you get a scratch in the wild if you don't know how to treat it you can die of infection.

Revolution will probably happen, but hope it's a peaceful one because are you ready to spatter someone's brains because they are stealing your food. Are you ready to kill because your daughter is about to get raped. Revolutions are never very fun. And it only breeds death and disease. Are you ready to see that happen? I don't wish to see anyone get hurt, but I also know the people can't be ignored any longer without something giving way.

  6. I don't see how having things makes you superior. Although if you want to look at it that way, there are plenty of things that we have that people like Paris don't. Money grants you power over other people that depend greatly on it. Yes we need money but for people that are content with their income, I see no reason they would eat Paris Hilton's vertical smile.

  7. Takes money and allot of it to buy the politicians we do have for what ever reason you wish to buy them.  Using your word, for a "superior situation" usually business.

Bottom end can't afford health care your life potential could be limited.

  8. yes and no.

this question is so mired in relatively that to tackle would require painstaking analysis. Its not as easy as saying no. Not as easy as saying yes. And I'm too lazy to explain. But here is a minimalist attempt from me:

the realm of society is tantamount to a domain where needs are "created", "addressed", and "regulated". An example is "wealth." In society, "wealth" is "created" to be used to participate in what society produces ("addresses") to absorb that wealth. And, it is also "regulated" to maintain some degree of "fair play."

This "game" only occurs in society (that is, this social game is created by some collective yearning, not by nature itself)- not in a jungle or desolate island. So, money does give you greater LEVERAGE to play in this "social game/domain" and this is as far as "superiority" goes. Other than that, it is a matter of perception. This "leverage" is nil in a island or jungle, where "wealth" means nothing. Understand?

But whether you play the game or not, you either have greater leverage or less-to-zero leverage-- but as far as your mortality, well.... we all bleed the same, including kings and nobles and so on.. A rolex, fame, and so on, unfortunately, do not allow one the ability to cheat fate

So, its not about "superiority" but about your leverage and power to influence the "game" that is society. understand?

"No man is to be envied for his lot" - Schopenhauer.

I highly recommend you take a look at his philosophy-- you will see the substance (or, lack thereof) that undergirds human "happiness."

  9. Umm, humans (who fall for Paris anyways) are only looking superior because they abide by the law of money. Look at animals. If you try to bribe yourself out of a lion's home in Africa by paper value, you won't get anywhere. Something is only powerful as long as its power is acknowledged in a Universal level, and money isn't.

Consider this, where is money if the value of the dollar is changed to zero? It's nowhere. Stock crashes are moneya lso, so when it crashes, it means nothing. It means you can't eat. And even if you have money, and you eat everything, is it satisfaction at a certian level? If you can survive on a pond, living on nature's bounty, while others make money,a nd the value is dying, are you better off in the pond?

  10. nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooo

  11. no. it just makes them hoyty toyty and they think they are better then the little people.

  12. ...it is in my lifestyle...

...revolutions cost...what do you have to offer...

  13. Excess is never rational. In anything. People eating my **** would do absolutely nothing for me. I'm sure many have different opinions.

  14. that money gives power does not mean it makes one superior. just as he who has power over you by pointing a gun at you does not make him superior.

  15. Easy ***, easy go.

  16. Sadly for the materialstic part of society money makes a person more superior to others but in the human part of society money isnt the answer to superiority but should be measured through how happy is a person.

Lets be honest a simple person could be happy living in a small peaceful place rather than a stressful unhappy person with immense wealth unless that kind of person is happy with himself.

    AND DONT DO A REVOLUTION.

  17. No.

However, what they do with it, how they spend it, might!

  18. Ask the Pope : )

    Love & Blessings

  19. My father taught me that a dollar is a problem and a million dollars is a million problems. You may have Paris Hilton confused with someone who has an easy life but I don't. I prefer the easy life of poverty to the pain in the asterisk life of wealth and fame.

  20. They will get what they deserve after this life, probably nothing.

Isiah 11: 4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

I obviously just came from R&S.

Edit: LOL Josh, I respect your opinion and I'm glad you respect mine, thanks

Edit: You are right we have MADE them superior, but they are not.
