  1. People who say that money doesn't matter haven't thought about it deeply enough.  It matters greatly.

It's not the money itself.  After all, that's green paper, right?  It's the ability that money gives you to make your own choices.  For example, if you've got money, you can go on a cruise, build an orphanage, fly with your sweetheart to Europe, send someone through college, and a myriad of other things.  When you have money, it's your choice to do those things, or not.  No one can say that freedom of choice doesn't matter.

If you don't have money however, you can do none of those things, ever.  The choice is made for you.  It's out of your control, because you have no money.

Likewise, if you have money, you can do self-destructive things with it as well.  So be careful, not about money, but about who you are once you have money.  Money also gives you the freedom to destroy yourself if you so choose.

So no, money doesn't buy happiness or unhappiness.  It just buys "things".  What money does is give you far more control over your own life.  That matters.  In turn, you will decide your own happiness or unhappiness with how you choose to employ that control.

But you would never have that control in the first place without money.

Think about it this way.  Money is very much like a hammer.  With a hammer, you can build a wall, or destroy a wall.  It's your choice, not the hammer's.  But you couldn't do either one of those without that hammer.

Don't be talked into the false self-satisfaction of poverty by those who are too afraid of their own natures to pick up the hammer.

    Good luck to you.

  2. NO NOT REALLY. MONEY MAY GIVE YOU A FEW MORE OPPORTUNITIES BUT NO NOT REALLY.

TO SOME PEOPLE THEY THINK IT WILL MAKE THEM HAPPIER BUT THAT'S BECAUSE THEY HAVEN'T REALLY ADDRESSED THE REAL PROBLEMS IN THEIR LIFE.

  3. Yes. It matters if you can pay your bills or not.

Rich means nothing unless you are going to do something for the greater good. I'm not impressed with people that have to show off. It's boring and selfish. It's stupid.

  4. Money doesn't matter, but I am rich.  I have a wonderful husband who loves me and supports me, two wonderfully loyal and sweet fur children, I live in a safe neighborhood with thoughtful and caring neighbors, I have enough food and water to sustain me and share, too and a roof over my head that doesn't leak.  Life is good.

  5. There is a belief that having all the money you need will buy happiness and maybe it will. In this mixed up world if there is no money resources then you are just one of the peasants. Having enough for comfort and food should be sufficient, but it is nice to be able to give gifts and help others out of their money worries.

    Spartawo...

  6. nah....it's what you do with your money that counts.

I know a lot of people that have money that are lost or unhappy. I know a lot of people that don't have much but are comfortable and appreciative of what they do have.

If you can't live within your means then what good does being rich do?

In the end, we all die and can bring nothing with us! What will you leave behind, a big bank account or a big impact?
