Does money really grow on trees?

Money (paper cash) is made from paper, and paper grows on trees so technically money grows on trees

right?

The "paper" used by the Mint is actually cloth fibers!  But, in a sense, money does grow on trees in the form of the lumber (wood) used for paper, houses, and furniture, resins for paint and plastics, fruits such as oranges, cherries, apples, and nuts, extracts used for medicines, as well as many other uses!

    A single, very large, black walnut tree was sold for $50,000 for making furniture!  Now that is money growing from a tree!
