  1. No it will not.

  2. haa haa

  3. I don't think so.

In my own personal experience, I've used all sorts of electronic equipment including a Digital Camera, DV Camera, iPod, and gaming equipment and they were all fine.

The cabin is pressurized, so if the air pressure did make enough difference to ruin electronics, you would most likely immediately feel the effects first.

  4. no, I'm pretty sure electronics are strong enough to withstand the minimal change in air pressure you get on an airplane.

Remember than an airplane's cabin is pressurized to almost ground-level conditions.

Even if it wasn't, I cant imagine that air pressure could effet something as strongly put together as a camera's assembly. They are pretty robust.

  5. Most electronic gadgets are immune to the effects of minor changes in pressure such as those found on aircraft.

Some video devices that use tape require a minimum amount of air pressure to keep the tape floating over the heads, but the air pressure inside the pressurized cabin of an airliner is more than sufficient for this.  The same is also true for disk drives in computers.  If the device is not operating, there usually isn't any upper limit for altitude.

  6. Nope, the cabin is pressurized during flight. At altitude, water and freezing are the killers for electronics, not pressure.
