Does my 17 month old eat too much?

My daughter is not overweight, in fact, she is small. She weighs 25lbs. She will eat and eat, all day, if I let her, though. She eats a can of Gerber Graduates Pasta Pick ups with a jar of Gerber stage 3 fruit, and then if she sees me or her brother or sister eating, she will want our food. Like just today she ate pasta pick ups and a bowl of cereal(raisin bran crunch)and she is still looking for food. Is there something wrong with her? She vomited before because she ate too much. But she always acts like she is starving. And, if I refuse to give her food, she cries. I am obese, and I do keep an eye on what my children eat, because I don't want them to be overweight as well. Am I just trippin or does my baby have a problem? She is my 3rd child, and the only one I have had this issue with. She is too cute, and it is hard to refuse her food, but I don't want her to get sick or be big. Please someone help, lol, PLEASE!

  1. Children at this age do not usually sit down to eat a meal like we do, they graze all day long.  My 2 year old does the same thing.  If doctor's are not worried about her weight, I wouldn't be either.  One thing you might consider doing, and this is personal opinion and experience...don't feed her "baby food".  That stuff has got to be the grossest stuff around.  It was always my  thinking...if I'm not going to eat it, I won't make you.  Feed her what you eat.  It will also make you think twice about what you put in your body.

  2. I don't see anything wrong with it if she is not getting to be 2 big over it. she is growing so she will like to eat.
