I have noticed that the driver's side of the truck (front and back) sit 3/4 of an inch lower than the passenger side. The drivers side does feel like it bounces more than the passenger side. I have also noticed that the drivers side of the truck squeks. What can be some ways to tell if its bad shocks or bad springs. Could there also be a way to adjust the height?

  1. shocks will never change hieght but that doesnot been they are good spings will alays change hieght these trucks came with gas charged shocks and the best way to see if the shocks are junk look for oil on shocks

  2. well you can't adjust the height unless you plan on giving your truck a lift kit......if the truck rides kind of rough or bounces its your shocks that are worn.....springs normally don't wear out unless you haul a heavy load very often ....if your truck sits lower it most likely the shocks....hope this helps

  3. adjust the height with the torsion bars

  4. yea get them changed before the frame stresses too much and twists resulting in thousands of dollars of repairs. (costs 3,000 to have a frame re-bent)
