Does my Drum Major like me? PLEASE AWNSER!!!!!

Question

im in marching band and im a freshman. i play the clarinet and im really good at it. i've been memorising my music and im further ahead than most people in my band. i help people in the band with uniforms, im a tom-boy and i mostly help guys who are... pretty hopeless and so they call me mom.

i have a guy drum major and hes an origional clarinet player. hes super nice and he trys to be kind to everyone.

now on the stuation. we were having sectionals (where a specific instrument plays with only the same instrument) and my Drum Major, Ryder, was leading it. well, we all had some indivudial studies with him and i could tell he was trying to flirt with me. And, later on in the day, he tried on his band uniform and asked me "wat do you think?"

me: "well, i cant say its perfect"

Ryder: ".....it looks bad doesn't it?"

me: "yah"

so i started to help fix his uniform. i fixed his sleves, hat, cape, and his neck clip (wich wasn't even done, like, it loked like he didnt even clip it together)

so, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE awnser!

does he like me, or is he being nice? (and hopeless on his laundry skills)

This has NOTHING to do with Performing Arts.  See if you can find a forum on Teenage Flirting.  If you have a GENUINE question about performing arts, there are MANY of us here who are very well-educated and experienced, and here to help you.  Do not waste space on "does he like me?" garbage. Duh.

Hey Girl,

   Well, to me, it sounds like he might have his eye on you all right.   Usually drum majors try to keep a distance because the band has to respect him and look to him as the head of the band...  he is the leader.   So, if he is giving you some extra nice treatment,  he could be flirting.  I think in the days to come you will get more clues.  If he comes out of his way to speak to you or sends smiles your way,  he probably does like you and will want to get your attention.

    

    Here is the question though.... Do you like him?  There could be a romance going on here :)) .    Just keep and eye on it and be as friendly as you can.   AND if you have your eye on being drum major in the future,  having a friend as the drum major is an advantage.  He can give you pointers and perhaps a few lessons to help you.  :))
