  1. It looks like the answer is... no!

    I can't look at the spec sheet directly on the Walmart site (because this model is a couple of years old), but Googling the Brand/model comes up with this review on Epinions written by another owner of this model:

    Quote from the original review (Jan. 25, 2006):

    "From what I see on the specs, this is not a[n] HDTV capable"

    Quote from the last update of the review (Dec. 22, 2007);

    "Got a digital tune[r] for it, now I'm good for another 20 years"

    So, you will have to put a converter on it by Feb. 2009 to receive broadcast (over the air with an antenna) TV, as the other owner of this model did a few months ago.
